Dr. Brandi R. Shepard is a proud Cody native, born and raised in a family that has called Wyoming home for five generations. She is now raising the sixth generation! Dr. Shepard founded Cody Audiology Clinic in 2022 after 23 years of experience in audiology across Wyoming, Arkansas, and Colorado. She feels blessed to practice in her hometown, providing patient-focused care, research-based strategies, and state-of-the-art hearing aid technology to benefit patients in Cody and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Shepard completed a semester-long internship at the Cheyenne VA Hospital, gaining valuable insight into the VA system and developing a passion for helping veterans with their hearing healthcare needs. She continues to support veterans whenever possible. Her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) was completed at a fast-paced ENT clinic in Arkansas, where she advanced her skills in diagnosing hearing and balance disorders, working with surgical ears, and managing complex hearing aid fittings.

In 2004, Dr. Shepard managed five hearing aid centers in Colorado, gaining extensive knowledge in hearing aid performance and prescription changes according to best practice care. While starting her family, she transitioned to private practice, co-owning a clinic with another Doctor of Audiology for seven successful years before returning to Cody to develop Cody Regional Health’s first audiology department.

In 2022, Dr. Shepard proudly opened her solo practice, Cody Audiology Clinic, to continue providing personalized, high-quality audiology care to her community.

Outside of audiology, Dr. Shepard’s true joy is her husband, Todd, and their four teens, Masey, Avery, Cole, and Kinley. She cherishes time with family, reading (especially memoirs and biographies), and being near the ocean. She adores her 3 dogs, values friendships, and her favorite travel buddy is her mom. She can often be seen on the sidelines of her kids’ sports and has an appreciation for giving back to the Cody community.
